JAY FOLEY
PRESIDENT

For more than 20 years, Jay Foley has been serving clients in the financial industry. A Wall Street veteran, Jay decided to start his own firm so he could make a difference in people’s lives, informing them about the products that best suit their needs and committing to always working in their best interests.

Jay focuses on principal-protected investments that mitigate risk, charges minimal fees and helps provide guaranteed income for life for his clients. During his past experience, he witnessed clients — even family members — get mistreated, which drove him to search for a better way for people to plan for retirement. He had a higher calling to run his own firm and pursued it: enter MaxGuard Wealth.

Jay feels a strong desire to be of service to his clients and wants his integrity to be visible in every aspect of what he does. He doesn’t punch a clock when it comes to work, so there’s no division between him as a financial advisor and as a regular person. He considers it an awesome responsibility and privilege to serve his clients and treats them as he wants his family to be treated.

His expertise lies in reviewing clients’ existing portfolios, reducing fees and risk while maintaining comparable upside. His dedicated, personalized service throughout the planning process makes him stand out from the competition. He always does the right thing, even when it’s not the easiest thing, and feels great pride when he can design innovative strategies for his clients that will give them confidence in their plans.

Jay earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Loyola University Maryland. He has passed the Series 65 exam and holds life insurance and health insurance licenses. He is a financial professional who can offer investment and insurance products and services. 

Outside of the office, you can find Jay running, hiking, going to the gym, watching movies or attending professional sporting events. He loves spending time with his family and tries to make it to Northern New England as much as possible in the summer.
